Talaqqa

About Talaqqa

Talaqqa turns publicly available Islamic lectures into structured courses you can follow lesson by lesson, for free.

How it works

Many teachers have published excellent lecture series on YouTube, but they can be hard to follow in order. We organise those series into courses with modules and lessons, and give you a simple way to save courses, mark lessons complete and pick up where you left off.

Every video plays from YouTube through its official embedded player. We never download, copy or edit videos, and every lesson names its teacher and links to the original.

Who chooses the courses

Courses come only from teachers and channels approved by the project maintainers. We follow published content guidelines and check every video before it is added. Anyone can suggest a course, but nothing is published without review.

Free and open source

Talaqqa has no ads, no paywall and no account requirement. The code and course files are open source on GitHub, so anyone can see how it works or help improve it.

Teachers and creators

If you are a teacher whose lectures appear here and you want a change or a removal, use the report a problem / request removal page. We act on removal requests from creators quickly and without argument.
