Content guidelines
These rules decide what can be added to Talaqqa. They apply to maintainers and contributors alike.
What we include
- Structured lecture series from recognised teachers and channels approved by the maintainers.
- Courses with a clear order that a learner can follow, from beginner to advanced.
- Accurate, neutral titles and summaries that describe what each lesson covers.
How we use videos
- Videos play only through YouTube's official embedded player (youtube-nocookie.com).
- We never download, re-host, cut, strip ads from, or play audio-only versions of any video.
- Every video is checked by a maintainer to be real, public, embeddable and correctly attributed before it is published.
- We do not include videos whose creators have disabled embedding or asked not to be included.
Credit
- Every course names its teacher or channel and links to the original source.
- Every lesson shows the teacher's name and a link to watch it on YouTube.
Suggesting a course
Open a course suggestion on GitHub with the teacher, the playlist link and why it is worth including. Maintainers review every suggestion against these guidelines.
Problems and removals
If a video is broken, wrongly credited or should not be here, please tell us. Creator removal requests are honoured.
